Spiritus Systems is currently searching for a Sewing Machine Operator. Spiritus Systems is a rapidly growing veteran-owned small business that manufactures tactical nylon equipment based in Aberdeen, NC.? We are?looking for a?motivated,?dependable, hardworking individual to join our team with the potential for growth and development.

POSITION:

Sewing Machine Operator

Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

The sewing machine operator is an integral part of the manufacturing production line. The sewing machine operator will be trained with the technical knowledge and?have the?ability to?communicate?the?technical information required?to perform as an operator in the sewing department.?They will support and report to the sewing manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Sit, stand, bend, and kneel for up to and including 8 hours
• Ability to work 40 hours per week
• Ability and willingness to lift up to 50?lbs.?of weight
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Performs basic sewing functions under supervision
• Able to sew straight lines and basic geometric shapes
• Able to sew advanced patterns
• Able to assemble different textile materials into a finished product under supervision
• Able to read and interpret sewing technical packets and follow instructions
• Maintains quality control and takes appropriate action to maintain accuracy and precision
• Able to identify components and workings of sewing machine and perform basic daily maintenance
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting on machine and identify the need for external services when needed
