The Opportunity:
C2S3 provides software and system engineering services for Development and follow-on Post Deployment Software Support (PDSS) activities for the Software Engineering Center (SEC), Command, Control, and Communications Tactical (C3T) portfolio of systems and support. The portfolio is expected to align with both Army and Mission Command (MC) modernization strategies and new versions of the Common Operating Environment (COE)/Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE) and Mounted Computing Environment (MCE).
Responsibilities:
Provide outstanding cost effective system and software engineering support while ensuring reliability, maintainability, interoperability, and configuration integrity. The following service objectives include the following:
Maintain mission continuity within a changing and dynamic environment.
Sustain a world-class workforce focused on current and future Warfighter requirements and organizational vision.
Be a provider of choice for software solutions and services for present and future customers.
Seize strategic opportunities while ensuring the SEC role as a software leader.
Maintain Army field readiness with R&D/PDSS. 6. Meet growing and changing software demand throughout the DoD.
Qualifications:
Required:
Perform system level testing, interoperability testing and system-of-system cross-functional software engineering testing
Active Secret clearance
Promote and support Test Automation and efficiencies
Provide software testing assistance and participation for; qualification tests, information software and assurance compliance testing, and software test result evaluations.
Develop and execute tests plans for the SEC C3T portfolio of systems.
Test software changes integrated with the existing software and other systems to verify that corrections and enhancements to software were successfully implemented and did not adversely affect any other components of the system or other system.
Establish, implement, execute, and document software test efforts for knowledge portal applications as specified by the Government.
Participate in the coordination of all necessary engineering actions, resource planning, and scheduling required to control and maintain a test bed environment for portal/web-based applications. This includes, but is not limited to, establishing test bed requirements, specifications, development environments, environment upgrades, test bed validation, test bed repair, and test bed operation.
Acquire, account for, configure, and test all commercially available hardware or software tools required for Development/PDSS/PPSS.
Develop hardware or software tools required to provide support when commercially available tools are not available.
Integrate the various components of the support environment and test them to verify the functionality of the support environment. Provide maintenance to all resources within the SEC C3T Directorate software support environments and facilities for each assigned system.
Bachelor Degree in Electronics Engineering or any other Scientific or Technical discipline
Five years of relevant work experience as a Senior Test Engineer

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100 - 172,400 USD
