Job Summary: S4 Inc. is seeking a Classified Cybersecurity Specialist to support the Army Research Laboratory (ARL). ARL's mission is to discover, innovate, and transition science and technology to ensure dominant strategic land power, with a vision to be the nation's premier laboratory for land forces. The Classified Cybersecurity Specialist will work within the Cybersecurity Office under the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) to manage and safeguard classified networks and systems, ensuring compliance with DoD and Army Cybersecurity standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to classified spillage notifications, coordinating with ARL Security, ARL IT Staff, and Legal Offices to minimize the impact on ARL resources. Follow DoD and Army regulations, policies, and guidelines. Report to Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) as required.

  • Process, track, and ensure proper decommissioning of classified equipment via the classified Turn-In process.

  • Manage the CTO 22-025: Data Loss Prevention (DLP) documentation processing, tagging, and updating for all sites.

  • Review any reported ARL Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP) issues, monitor until completion, and update VDP data in the SIPR portal.

  • Collect, organize, and submit monthly Cyber Maintenance Hardening Scorecard data via eMASS.

    Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Cybersecurity, with a focus on classified network and system security.

  • Strong understanding of DoD and Army Cybersecurity regulations, policies, and guidelines.

  • Proficiency with Cybersecurity tools and compliance processes.

  • Excellent analytical skills to evaluate and manage classified Cybersecurity incidents.

  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with IT staff and provide clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Experience in managing and validating compliance for classified environments.

    Key Areas of Focus:

  • Support the Cybersecurity Office under the OCIO within ARL.

  • Manage Cybersecurity services for ARL's classified networks and systems.

  • Ensure successful performance and compliance with Cybersecurity standards across classified environments.
