Leadership position managing 15 field staff who provide care management services under the Virginia Medicaid contract.

If you reside within a commutable distance of Alexandria and Fairfax, Virginia markets, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversite and compliance of authorizations, daily contractually required activities to ensure compliance

• Monitoring, coaching, and developing team members to their highest ability

• Supporting staff to remove barriers and needs of members

• Respond to DMAS requests with timely and accurate information

• Supporting other managers and coverage when needed

• Performing ride along visits with team members yearly

• Presenting and leading some staff meetings

• Engaging and active participant in project for quality and process improvements

• Ability to communicate professionally to support internal and external communications

• Ability to lead team in managing complex medical needs of members within home services

• Ability to perform in home assessment when coverage is minimally needed

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree within a medical field

• Licensed RN in state of Virginia

• 2+ years of experience working with HCBS waiver population under Virginia Medicaid

• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Teams
