As a CAD Detailer, you will be responsible for detailing various parts/components to assist our automotive, aerospace, military and industrial equipment customers.

Responsibilities Application of CAD skills necessary to complete assignment requirements.Responsible for the verification of component details necessary to meet customers' objectives, clearances, manufacturing requirements and functionality.Responsible to support department design and drawing reviews.Communicate job status to senior designer, engineering and management on a daily basis.Assist the design department in other capacities such as in detailing and checking, with guidance.Continuing education in CAD methodology and manufacturing process, etc.Responsible to support department Quality System and follow any procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects.Required Qualifications Associate's degree from a college or technical school focused in mechanical design/engineering or similar focus -OR- minimum of 2 years product design and detail experience in industry field. Preferred QualificationsAbility to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Demonstrated geometric dimensioning and tolerancing capability.Related CAD training classesOur full-time benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, earned sick time, STD, LTD, 401K, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation, paid holidays, and more.
