Maintenance Manager

Reports To: Plant Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Summary:

Promotes and supports the production environment at all times. Reports all non-routine work problems to management. Collaboratively responsible for robotic and automation programming, troubleshooting, implementations, and/or modifications. Provides maintenance support and assistance with machinery and equipment repairs, adjustments and modifications. Indirectly supervises activities of maintenance technicians and establishes plant-wide preventative maintenance program; focusing on prevention rather than detection for problems, as well as, staying involved with other departments problem solving efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Work with and advise production floor supervision to accomplish adequate maintenance scheduling and manpower to achieve EBITDA and plant KPI targets.
• In accordance with Aludyne Values and Tenets, utilize a management review process to develop, measure, improve and achieve key measurable performance objectives including, but no limited to, the following:

o Cost per Good Shot

o Die Cast Uptime

o Machining Uptime

o On-Time Delivery

o Mean Time to Failure

o Mean Time to Repair 

Indirectly Supervises and performs a wide range of high skilled repairs to automated die cast machine (exclusive of die repair) and machining equipment cells, including preventative maintenance. Works from complex prints, verbal and written instructions.

Inspects completed work for quality and completion of work ordered.

Performs and supervises replacements, troubleshooting, repairs to electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical equipment.
