Ambler Savings Bank SVP / Bank Operations Officer in Ambler, Pennsylvania

*Ambler Savings Bank, a community bank headquartered in Ambler, Pennsylvania, is seeking a SVP / Bank Operations Officer to work full-time and in person in our Ambler Headquarters location. *

*RESPONSIBILITIES:     *

The SVP / Bank Operations Officer provides executive leadership, strategic vision and business management to drive overall outcomes to achieve profitable growth of the Bank of which the following are illustrative:

  • Assists with the development and implementation of the strategic plan to advance the Bank's mission and vision to promote profitability and growth.  
  • Directs and drives the short and longer-term planning based on objectives, initiatives, and resources of the Bank.  Drives prioritization to meet strategic goals.
  • Takes a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing systems, processes, workflows, and procedures to effectively grow the organization.
  • Collaborates with the President/CEO in developing and implementing strategic objectives and overall administration of the Bank.
  • Leads the Operations Division in order to provide efficient, accurate, and cost effective technical and operational support services through the oversight of the Information Technology Department, Deposit Operations Department, and the Bank's Branch Offices.

SKILLS:

Demonstrates management, supervisory and leadership skills; experience performing key responsibilities; strong customer service skills; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; thorough knowledge of current banking laws and regulations and regulatory reporting requirements; the ability to manage and prioritize multiple demands under pressure; good professional judgment, problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions; strong PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; detail oriented, strong organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; visual and auditory skills; clearly communicates in English; a thorough knowledge of bank operations, policies, procedures, and computer operations and applications.

EDUCATION / TRAINING:

A B.S. or B.A. degree in Business, Operations, Communication, Finance, or a related field; specialized bank operations education and training.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in the banking industry; previous positions held within Bank Operations Department with increasing responsibilities; comfortable reporting directly to CEO & President; COCC Insight or Fiserv DNA core system experience a plus.
