Employment Type: Full-Time

Shift: Days, Weekend on-call required

Hours Per Week: 36 Hours/week

Hiring Range: $23.40-$30.50

Offer rates are based on experience. Offer rates at the higher end of the range are only for applicants with many years of experience

Responsibilities: • Prepares patients for procedures by reviewing medical history, appropriately positioning patient and cleaning/shaving/numbing testing sites as appropriate. • Interprets, describes and reports test results. Recognizes recording errors and artifacts and reacts appropriately. • Monitors patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition. • Prepares and maintains equipment, supplies and lab area.

• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

  Required Credential(s): • BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.

  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing.
