Mission
The Pool/Hot Tub Service Technician will travel to customer’s homes to open and close pools, and perform repairs on pools, pool liners, spas, and related equipment.
We are hiring for the end of March/beginning of April but possibility for sooner
Pay: $20-$28/hour based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
Test, diagnose, make repairs to, and/or replace pumps, heaters, filters, and other equipment using diagnostic tools, and according to manufacturer’s instructions and mechanical knowledge and skills
Obtain and install equipment and accessories and test for proper function; provide instructions to the customer on proper use and care
Perform water chemistry tests and make chemical adjustments as needed to ensure optimum water quality to meet customer requirements
Open and close pools, maintaining cleanliness of work area and customer’s property
Review and update work orders and details, customer concerns, and any related information relative to repair work
Qualifications:
High school diploma
Driver’s license, clear of major infractions, and subject to approval from the insurance company
Experience using basic hand and power tools
Experience in a skilled trade such as plumbing or electrical preferred ,but not required
Skills:
Ability to follow safety instructions and promote a safe working environment
Ability to read technical diagrams or blueprints
Customer friendly, observant and well organized
Experience in following verbal and written guidelines to perform job function
Physical and Environmental Conditions
Talking and hearing, walking and sitting, using hands to grasp, pushing, pulling, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching with arms/hands, are required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 20 pounds frequently, to move objects.
Good hand-eye coordination.
Exposure to outside adverse environmental conditions, such as fumes, dust, oils and lubricating fluids, mechanical moving parts, moving vehicles, fluctuating weather conditions, and occasional hazardous chemicals or materials.
