Job Description

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock/product and performing inventory and quality control Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with culinary Leads/Managers to process all inventory transfers between departments

• Maintain Prima Inventory Control Software in collaboration with Chefs input

• Responsible for receiving products and merchandise, checking for quality and damages to items, and the proper storage of the delivered products and merchandise

• Ensuring accuracy of invoicing

• Perform physical inventory monthly with Chef De Cuisine

• Processes requests for supplies, merchandise and food products

• Ensures security of company assets

• Maintain all storage areas in accordance with Aramark's Food Management Process guidelines

• Process all invoices via Birch Street system

• Coordinate and communicate with accounting daily/as necessary

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age

• High school education or equivalent is preferred

• 2 years of previous Inventory Control experience is preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills

• Basic computer skills

• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery

• Able to lift up to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb

• Some client locations require a current valid driver?s license. If this is required, an MVR will be run as part of your pre-employment screening process.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
