Job Title: 2nd Shift Lead Assembler
2nd: 3:30pm-2:00am M-TH but overtime is currently every Friday
Pay: $22.00 an hour
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Lead Assembler to oversee a team of assemblers while also participating in the assembly work. This 'Working Lead' will be responsible for assembling gym equipment, ensuring production schedules are met, and maintaining high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day production of the assembly line.
Ensure the assembly line meets production schedules.
Communicate with management and report daily production.
Utilize hand and power tools to assemble fitness equipment
Maintain and complete required paperwork.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
High School graduate or equivalent.
2 years of assembly experience.
Experience as a Lead/Manager in some capacity.
Ability to operate small air, hand, and electric tools.
Ability to read work instructions and drawings.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, sit, twist/turn, climb ladders, reach overhead, and grasp tools as necessary.

Work Environment
This is a manufacturing facility that is not air-conditioned and can get hot in the summer. However, it is the newest part of the building and is well-lit with skylights and organized. Employees are trained on multiple assembly lines and must be versatile. The work environment is team-oriented, with assembly done in 'pods' or 'cells' of roughly 3-4 people, where they will assemble certain machines and cross-train into other areas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.25 - $24.00/hr.
