Who will you be working with?

Your key customers include teammates from within the People function, business leadership, operations (Apodaca plant), and functional teams in facility and global teams.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Wabtec Mexico Team, you will be responsible for contribute to the business strategy and make a difference by leading, guiding, and executing impactful organizational activities to drive a high-performing organization culture.

You will challenge, coach and steer line management in line with the organization vision and people strategy, increasing the focus on accelerating talent growth & capability development to drive a passion to win.

You will also guide and manage the employee experience (interns to managers) to engage and enable a high-performing workforce to support the organization in achieving business goals.

This role support HR team in Monterrey in facility and corporate, employees life-cycle (onboarding, training and offboarding); Labor audits and support culture development in Apodaca plant, lead inclusion activities and certifications such as Top Companies Award, ERGs and other teams support. This role reports to HR Manager and its performed 4 days in corporate offices and 1 day in Apodaca plant facility.

What do we want to know about you?

  • Profound knowledge in talent resourcing and management, organization and change management, leadership, engagement, and culture development.

  • A degree in Business or equivalent

  • At least 7 years of hands-on experience in HR, spending most of it in an HR business partnering capacity.

  • Familiarity of local employment-related laws and regulations, and competent experience and understanding of other people functional areas such as talent acquisition, performance management, and learning and development in presence and remote employees.

  • Ability to balance planning and strategizing work with hands-on and practical application, while being comfortable with making independent decisions, evaluating, and managing conflicting priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment

  • Desire to revolutionize conventional people practices into exceptional people programmes, transforming the ordinary into best-in-class because you know and want what great looks like!

What will your typical day look like?

  • Build strategic partnerships and strong relationships with your key customers through effective networking, influencing and alliance

  • Lead the attraction and selection of trainees and support the selection and onboarding of new talents, working closely with line managers

  • Transform data and new law initiatives into actionable insights, putting meaning behind facts and figures to connect with business leaders

  • Contribute to business plans and positively influence organization outcomes

  • Be the expert in change management, driving the people agenda and leading with your professional expertise in key change projects

  • Collaborate with HROps specialist, Talent acquisition’s and others.

  • Work with HR team to anticipate, address and communicate climate strengths and opportunity areas, designing action plans to enable continuous improvement in organizational culture

  • Create, actualize Guide policies and processes.

  • Be a trusted advisor and confidante to employees, listening to and supporting them with resolution of issues and providing advice and advocating on their behalf, where needed.
