Schedule: 4/10hr days/40hrs p/wk - 1st Shift M-TH

On-Site work only

Able to obtain Secret Clearance once assignment starts assignment to perform all duties of the position.

The Company - Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies.

SUMMARY

  • Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.

  • Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.

  • Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.

  • Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.

  • Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.

  • Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.

  • Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.

  • Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).

  • Uses (PC) Personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports.

  • May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

  • Maintains effective customer communications and relations.

    Basic Required Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma (no Bachelor’s Degree required)

    • Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

    • Knowledge of JIRA software - a ticket system

    • Be able to effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments

    • Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.

    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment

    • This position requires that you must be a US Citizen for consideration

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, avionics discipline

    • Combined degree and experience preferred

    • Training/combined experience in electronics field may be substituted

    • Military training/combined experience in electronics field

    • Ability to read Engineering Drawings (1-2 years’ experience)

    • Data Acquisition (1-2 years’ experience)

    • Electronic Testing (1-2 years’ experience)

    • Read Electrical Schematics (1-2 years’ experience)
