Amazon Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Operational Excellence (OpEx) is looking for a Program Manager (PM) to drive continuous improvement EHS projects. If you are a strategic thinker with a strong background in program management and continuous improvement, we encourage you to apply.

We are actively seeking an experienced RM with a strong background in planning and leading EHS initiatives that align with long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities, and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive communication skills are essential. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in transforming visions into actionable plans and guiding those plans to fruition. In this role, you will be responsible for program strategies, including the development and execution of detailed project roadmaps. You will work closely with various internal teams and stakeholders, harmonizing different perspectives and ensuring cohesive efforts towards common goals.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

  • 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience

  • Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements

  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience

  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials

  • Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt
