Technical Project Lead, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US: Play a Lead Technical SME role focal in resolving any Severity 1/ high critical issues on the system and ensure that the systems are brought back to normal with the highest priority. Prepare various recommendations, solution options in Java to fulfill the complex customer requirements. Use extensive knowledge on Java & legacy AS400 integration experience and functional knowledge (Subject Matter expertise) of the existing applications in addition to Transport and Logistics industry knowledge. Analyze the scope of the new feature being requested by the client from a development, system & technical perspective. Assess architectural level changes and impacts for the new feature. Study the feasibility of the requested feature and potential architecture for the system. Design, build and document the Business Intelligence Publisher reports and troubleshoot the failed reports in production. Design and develop the integration services with Java to retrieve the archived information through real time integration based on the service requests. Design, build (tools using maven, spring framework, jsp, webservices like SOAP) and integrate with Java Messaging Service (JMS to interact with other applications. Present the application at various stakeholders at various stages of the project using excellent communication, presentation, technical and coordination skills. Provide estimates for various initiatives and projects. Design/develop the complex SQL queries and stored procedures to handle large volume of transactions. Utilize Java Script, HTML5, CSS 3, maven, spring framework, jsp and webservices (SOAP). Required: Masters degree or equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Masters degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related.
