Actalent is hiring a Civil Project engineer to join the team at a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm in Ashburn, VA. This candidate ideally has land development experience and will work on a project team to design a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites throughout Northern Virginia.

Description:

• Assist Project Managers and Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems.

• Create and run electronic hydraulic models for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations as needed.

• Design, development, and management of land development projects.

• Manage job tasks as deadlines and priorities change.

Top Skills & Qualifications:

• 2-5+ years of land development or related experience (site grading, putting together site plans, hydraulics, storm water management, utility design, pond retentions, codes/ordinances, etc.).

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Experience with Storm water Management Design.

• EIT Certification or PE License is preferred, but not required.
