• The Controls Design Engineer requires 5-7 years of related experience and an accredited bachelor's degree in engineering technology or an associate degree.
• Job responsibilities include make safety a top priority using a safety first mentality, being highly productive with exceptional quality on design packages, providing technical expertise, and guidance for inexperienced design personnel.
• Skillsets and expertise required for this position include basic discipline knowledge, problem-solving skills, some discretion making independent decisions based on procedure and review with supervisor, understanding of Control Design tools and applications (AutoCAD Electrical, TEAMS, Stomps, SCST Vault, Maximo), strong work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors
