Job Description

An Insight Global client is looking for an Azure Data Architect to join their team in the Sandy Springs, GA area. This Architect will be 60% hands on with architecture, design, and data modeling while 40% of the time will be dedicated to providing assistance to others in the data + development organization. We need someone with a strong background in data solutioning who can analyze the data and provide insights into how organize, support, and deliver trustworthy and faster-moving data. This candidate should be able to come into the organization and provide insights on what models they should be using, best tools for the environment, deciding paths forward, etc. as you work side-by-side with the tech leads, data engineers, and business stakeholders.

Salary up to $150k + 15% bonus and an hourly target of $70-80/hr.

Skills and Requirements

* 10+ years of ETL / ELT Design, development and implementation experience using standard ETL/ ELT tool

* 10+ years of SQL Development Experience

o Ideally using SQL Server 2014 -- SQL Server 2019 and understand SQL Server Integration Services

* 7+ years of experience defining and managing ETL / ELT using tools and industry standard practices.

* 3+ years of Azure experience

o Working with Azure Data Factory, PowerBI, Fivetran

* 4+ years of Snowflake experience

o Heavy ETL and building ETL into snowflake

o Making sure data flows between Snowflake environment and build data around it * Experience being a lead is preferred but someone stepping into a formal lead for the first time is also acceptable

* ADF or other ETL tools

* Experience working in an SAP Migration environment null
