The Manager of Sports Events drives the development of national properties, large-scale events, and essential event initiatives in the region, creating points of difference and driving brand image. Reporting to Sr. Manager of Sports Marketing, you will be a project leader, working with all key stakeholders to maximize the impact of major regional Sports event initiatives. Responsibilities include all elements of event execution, from creative development to concept, execution, and evaluation. You will collaborate with and provide direction and assistance to the local field teams to use all Sports properties and Red Bull partners in host markets. This includes informing goal setting, identifying key scenes and relationships, and guiding relevant initiatives following national and regional events that occur within the region. 3+ years of relevant experience in event, project, team coordination, and budget management Experience with event and project management Find us creative and unique solutions for project execution Knowledge of several sports and their respective scenes on a regional and national level Experience managing budgets of more than $400,000 Contract and negotiation skills - constructing and reviewing the most advantageous agreements with suppliers/external partners Experience with relevant distribution outlets (all communication channels) Experience with TV and video production programming History of credible collaboration with local governments, demonstrating an understanding of local approval systems and regulations Plan and project management competencies Creative mind with experience putting new ideas into practice and assessing results Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Must be fluent in English; additional language skills an advantage Must have a valid US Drivers License Travel 30-40% Permanent Benefits eligible
