How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Delta is on a journey to become a world-class retailer, changing the way Delta can sell and service flight and ancillary products and improve the customer experience. To achieve this goal, we need to ensure Delta makes the right products available at the right price points to its customers (“Availability”), while also enforcing our booking rules and policies (“Revenue Integrity”).
Enterprise Solutions’ (ES) Revenue Enablement team is seeking a Product Manager to work cross-functionally with Delta’s Commercial and IT teams. This role will involve becoming a subject matter expert in the Availability and Revenue Integrity spaces, as well as driving innovation in multiple of Delta’s core commercial systems, including:
Inventory Availability
Airline Partner Availability
Booking Policy Enforcement
Overbooking Rules Management
Waiver Rules Management
Responsibilities:
Understand and improve the systems-side of how Deltacustomers book and ticket their travel
Set the vision and roadmap to best protect Delta’srevenue against booking fraud
Protect Delta’s revenue by ensuring tickets are booked inline with Delta’s policies
Investigate and resolve issues in the Availability andRevenue Integrity space
Collaborate with data scientists, IT, and relevantstakeholders across the enterprise to develop and implement scalable solutionsfor Delta
Ensure reliability of the systems and processes withinthe Availability and Revenue Integrity scopes to support Delta’s 24/7 operations
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Intellectually curious, highly motivated, and willing to challenge the status quo
Can cut through ambiguity, identify solutions, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build good connections within Delta’s commercial and IT departments, as well as with external vendors
Experience learning and improving diverse and complicated business processes
Ability to develop and own technical solutions in collaboration with data scientists and IT, from ideation to implementation
Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Delta’s organization
Strong analytical and data skills
Must be performing satisfactorily in current position
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Working knowledge of airlines, RM tools, processes, and data is strongly preferred
Experience managing multiple projects with limited supervision and making well-informed priority tradeoffs
Ability to work well with and rally diverse teams around a goal
Track record of delivering thoughtful solutions while meeting or exceeding deadlines
