Deloitte Senior Benefits Vendor Management Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

In this role, you will support the activities and projects associated with our Deloitte US Firms Rewards, Recognition and Well-being (RRWB) Vendor Management Program. This program centralizes the management of RRWB vendors to reduce risk, optimize spend, improve efficiency, and enhance the quality of vendor relationships and the way they deliver products and/or services. You will support RRWB vendor contracting, evaluations, risk reviews, performance monitoring, reporting, relationship management, and related inquiries. You will work closely with stakeholders and colleagues across various areas of the firm, and report to the Manager of the team. Recruiting for this role ends on April 30th, 2025. Work you'll do

  • Support and lead vendor relationship management activities across all areas of RRWB (including compensation and related recognition programs, health & welfare benefits, voluntary benefits, wealth accumulation/retirement programs, leaves, mental health, and well-being) and across all US Firms locations (including US, US-India, Mexico, Costa Rica, and additional geographies based on strategic decisions).

  • Maintain RRWB vendor contract inventories and vendor contract repository documentation.

  • Complete and maintain required internal vendor risk review and approval processes including Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) entries, Confidentiality and Privacy Impact Assessments (CPIA), and Third-Party Technology Approval Processes (TPTAP).

  • Support the development and delivery of vendor scorecards to monitor vendor performance and deliver stakeholder feedback.

  • Review and analyze service level agreement (SLA) reports to monitor and assess vendor performance against contracted performance guarantees, highlight concerns/successes, identify opportunities for cost reductions and/or service enhancements, and reconcile any penalties against vendor invoices.

  • Support RFI, RFP, and contract (re)negotiation activities in partnership with Manager and Procurement, ensuring all activities follow appropriate compliance standards. Relevant activities include but are not limited to researching and identifying vendors, reviewing and/or negotiating vendor contracts including business terms, statements of work, fee schedules, and performance guarantees/service level agreements.

  • Partner and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders based on internal RACI guidance (e.g., Talent, Procurement, Office of General Counsel, Risk, Independence, IT, Finance, Payroll, Client Services Leaders, etc.) to fulfill incoming requests and develop, deploy, and maintain program processes and tools.

  • Interact and communicate effectively with external vendors to develop and foster mutually beneficial relationships, ensure favorable agreement execution, and complete required risk reviews.

  • Identify market insights on vendor management leading practices, competitive pricing, and performance standards and make recommendations on opportunity areas.

  • Support special projects to address continuously evolving business needs including vendor implementations, strategic initiatives, and process improvement.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR operations, benefits operations, HR vendor management, benefits vendor management, or related experience

  • Experience with US Rewards, Recognition and Well-being programs (i.e., compensation, benefits, mental health, well-being)

  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, etc.), Access (or other database tools), PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Visio, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams e-room, or other knowledge management sites

  • Occasional travel to US locations one to two times per year may be required for in-person collaboration

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

  • Ability to travel 0-10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

    Preferred:

  • Experience in operations or vendor management for ERISA-covered benefit plans

  • Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills

  • Demonstrated strong communication, written, and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with a variety of levels including senior leaders both inside and outside of Deloitte

  • Strong listening, analytical, and decision-making skills necessary to resolve vendor issues

  • Experience partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors across global borders in a virtual environment

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66200-$121800. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
