How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The role of Operations Analysis & Performance (OAP) is to support this mission by providing strategic insights by first understanding business processes and then leveraging data and analytics to drive continuous improvement efforts.
The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with leadership and teams to develop creative solutions to current business challenges.
We are looking for data curious candidates that seek to understand process and can connect with our business partners to leverage data and drive improvement. They should also be able to take a project from end-to-end: gathering business requirements, working with all contributors to the project, and delivering results to the stakeholder without much oversight from a supervisor.
Responsibilities:
Locateand extract data from a variety of sources for use in analysis, strategy, andproject development
Wranglinglarge datasets using Python, SQL, etc. to identify opportunities and understandperformance
Buildingand handling multisource data sets to support department initiatives in atimely manner
Leverageemerging technologies and identify efficient and meaningful ways to communicatedata and analysis to satisfy divisional needs
Developand improve automated reports and analyses to support leadership and teams
Supportprocess improvement and project management engagements for bothcross-divisional initiatives
Presentanalytics findings to leaders
Trainand mentor other team members in various skillsets and subjects
Practicesafety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures
Havea team first attitude with the success of our team and business partners as thetop priority
Beintellectually curious, ask questions and speak up when they have an idea
Beindependent workers who look for problems to solve, come up with innovativeideas, and drive implementation of solutions

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
1+years of experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, orother relevant quantitative field preferred
Successfulcandidates will have familiarity and/or experience with some or all of thefollowing: SQL, SAS, R, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, Spotfire or other databaseinterface tools and languages
Mustbe comfortable working in group and individual settings
VisualBasic, Perl, Python, UNIX or other basic functional programming tools
Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embracesdiverse people, thinking, and styles.
Possessesa high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Isat least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science,Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or relevant quantitativefield
Advancedlevel ability to manage a reporting database environment, troubleshoot, andautomate reporting within Teradata/AWS and Python/SQL preferred
