Talent Management Leader - Early Career

This role will partner with Human Resources to execute and enhance GPI’s early-career pipeline programs while also assessing the business needs to develop other critical pipelines that will promote a deeper, sustainable value for the company. Key deliverables will include building talent programs to attract, develop, and retain teams of high performing individuals to help grow and drive GPI’s business strategy. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic self-starter that practices inclusivity and has a strong sense of ownership.

JOB FUNCTIONS: Job functions include but are not limited to the following.

  • Manage the Leadership Development Program (LDP) with an emphasis on in-program participant development, performance, retention, and post-program participant development

  • Own, develop and maintain relationships with partner schools and organizations from which we recruit LDPs

  • Partner with Human Resources and Site Managers to create a consistent experience for LDPs across the organization

  • Partner with site managers to onboard, assess performance gaps and accelerate development through robust individual development plans

  • Operate as a career coach for LDPs to effectively shape their development and improve retention

  • Reimagine, create, and/or curate cohort development opportunities for LDP participants based on business need

  • Introduce robust feedback loop, in alignment with the current performance management process, to ensure participant and business needs are met

  • Develop and introduce key organizational metrics that evaluate the effectiveness of the LDP

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team to recruit LDPs as needed

  • Partner with Human Resources to establish enterprise-wide standards for internship/co-op program

  • Provide cohort development opportunities for Interns

  • Identify opportunities for process and content enhancements that streamline and improve current programs

  • Assess business to understand the need for other critical talent pipelines. Partner with Learning & Development to design additional programming

  • Partner with the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to maintain an updated training curriculum, resources, and training records/assets

  • Other duties as assigned

BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Leadership Development or Talent Management

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Program Management experience

  • Experience within a Fortune 500 Company preferred

EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.

  • Capability to communicate effectively across all levels in the organization, both in writing and orally. Excellent facilitation skills

  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion

SCHEDULE DEMANDS:

  • General schedule is an 8 hour M-F workweek hybrid (3 days in office required). However, employee must be willing to work alternate schedules occasionally; that may include early mornings, nights, and/or weekends and be punctual while doing so.

  • Occasional overnight travel to include flying, driving, riding or by rail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time up to 8-hours.

  • Occasional Lifting up to 20 lbs.

  • Reading computer screen or other electronic devices.

  • Use of various office hand and electrical tools or equipment.

Pay Range: $112,560.00 - $150,045.00
