We are seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to join our team on our row crop farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including driving tractors and harvest machinery, operating and maintaining other farm machinery, performing physical labor, and assisting with general farm repairs. The role requires working in extreme\ weather conditions and is physically demanding, so applicants should be prepared for long hours and the physical demands of farm work. We primarily grow cotton, soybeans, and corn. Our equipment consists primarily of John Deere machines. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc., attach/detach implements, be able to handle working in high humidity, clean work areas, load crops and drive trucks to transport to and from fields and/or storage locations or facilities, load and unload materials and commodities, maintain grounds and landscaping, mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery, operate self-propelled machinery, repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment, repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures, set up repair, maintain, and operate specialized equipment, use hand tools such as such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, loppers, and knives, use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools, work in extreme temperatures, Assist in planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting row crops. Assist in various tasks around the farm as directed by supervisors, including cleaning equipment, maintaining field boundaries, and other tasks as needed. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: augers, combines or other harvesting equipment, cotton stripper/picker, GPS guidance systems, grain carts, forklift, irrigation equipment, mowers and other landscaping equipment, pickups, cars, etc., planters, self-propelled machinery, semi-trucks, sprayers, tractors. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce corn, cotton, soybeans. Speak and understand English.
