Description

We are in search of a Sr. Accountant who will be instrumental in managing financial operations, ensuring adherence to accounting standards, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This role revolves around the preparation of financial reports, analysis of financial trends, and maintenance of internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports for management review.

• Analyze financial trends, costs, revenues, and obligations to predict future financial performance.

• Accurately maintain accounting records by compiling and logging financial transactions.

• Adhere to GAAP and company financial policies to ensure compliance.

• Aid in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.

• Identify and reconcile any financial discrepancies in accounts.

• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Coordinate activities and answer queries to guide and support accounting clerical staff.

• Assist in internal and external audits to ensure compliance.

• Continuously improve accounting policies and internal controls to enhance the accuracy of financial data.

Requirements • Possess proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Demonstrated experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations efficiently

• Have extensive knowledge of General Ledger management

• Proficient in crafting Journal Entries

• High-level competency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Month End Close process is essential
