The Role: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

MaineGeneral has a new opening in our Oncology department. We are currently seeking a caring and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.

The Opportunity:

MaineGeneral Health is currently seeking a skilled CNA to join our team of compassionate Care givers at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer care.

This position has a Per Diem schedule.

The Work:

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice. Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical and spiritual needs.

• Greets patients and visitors. Answers, screens, and routes telephone calls. Calls codes, pages, and overhead announcements as requested.

• Reports abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.

• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.

You Have:

• 1 year or more of experience preferred.

• Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) required.

• Basic Life Support Provider preferred.
