Job Description:

The Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at MaineGeneral is seeking two Board eligible or Board-certified general otolaryngologists to join us as we rebuild our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a comprehensive ENT service provider in Central Maine, including specialties in rhinology, pediatrics, otology, and Head & Neck surgery, in collaboration with the Alfond Cancer Center.

About the Role:

General otolaryngologists, including those currently completing residency training, are ideal candidates for our vacancies. As a new otolaryngology physician, you will have the opportunity to develop a special interest that complements our existing team. You will join two permanent otolaryngologists, including the Medical Director, who will provide mentorship for newly qualified ENT physicians.

Areas of Interest: We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise or interest in:• Rhinology• Dizziness and balance disorders• Otology/Middle ear surgery

On Call CommitmentOur on-call schedule is 1 in 4. During our rebuilding phase, we are provided additional call coverage remotely.

State-of-the-Art FacilitiesWe provide well-equipped ORs, featuring CO2 laser, operating microscopes, nerve monitoring, and Medtronic Stealth Navigation systems.

Team SupportWe are recruiting an additional APP to work alongside each full-time otolaryngologist.
