Google AI Content Strategist in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management, or managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with product operations teams.

  • Experience with content modeling or working with AI content generation tools.

  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience presenting complex concepts to stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The PX Digital First Team drives People Operations’ transformation goal of helping Googlers resolve their HR queries via self service. We’re a team of UX content strategists, program managers, and content editors who use data to create great content and experiences for our fellow employees. Through our self-service channel we provide helpful answers, high-quality content, and seamless entry points to the HR systems and tools that Googlers use for performance management, requesting time off, making the most of their benefits, and more.

In this role, you will lead the successful creation, rollout, and adoption of modular content models, user journey taxonomies, and LLM QA frameworks to enable AI tools and other service delivery channels. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to streamline processes, maximize efficiency gains, and drive content excellence with AI. This is not a writing, web content management, or content marketing role.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Design and implement a comprehensive AI content strategy, mapping how our content structure, metadata schema, and QA workflows will adapt as we add AI-powered tools.

  • Own development of a modular content model covering all content and user types, partnering with UX and technology teams to guide implementation in our CMS.

  • Create and execute comprehensive implementation plans to bring your strategies to life, defining milestones, addressing dependencies, and bringing key stakeholders along for the journey.

  • Employ change management best practices to facilitate user adoption, conduct training, and navigate potential resistance to new tools and processes.

  • Monitor KPIs and user feedback to continuously improve AI implementation, identifying opportunities for refinement, expansion, and optimal content quality.
