Red Hat Ansible Sales Specialist in Austin, Texas

About the job

The North America Financial Services Industry Region Automation Sales team is looking for a Sales Specialist to join us in the Remote US East Coast. In this role, you will be responsible for Red Hat Ansible Automation software subscription sales offerings and services to prospective and current accounts. You'll need to have the ability to understand customer needs and challenges and link them to a set of Red Hat Ansible Automation offerings. This is a senior level sales position. Your tasks will include creating sales opportunities in both new and existing customer accounts through well-planned demand generation efforts.

What you will do

  • Work with the enterprise sales teams to plan the overall automation and multi-cloud strategy within a defined set of accounts

  • Gain the trust of senior IT and business executives within key accounts and create long-term partnerships

  • Ability to lead a consultative sales cycle, based on solution selling, which includes the whole of Red Hat's portfolio rather than specific offerings

What you will bring

  • 8+ years of experience in a solutions sales role

  • 4+ years of experience focused on enterprise automation systems like Chef or Puppet

  • Broad technical experience with enterprise IT, focused on automating network and infrastructure services

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to executives at large firms

  • Ability to sell solutions in a multi-product environment

  • Ability to work well in a matrixed selling environment

  • Proven ability to work with global cross-functional teams and achieve success for customers

  • Balance of strategic and tactical skills

  • Financial Services background and success is a plus

  • Master's degree or equivalent is a plus

The salary range for this position is $234,710.00 - $387,420.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
