JOB OVERVIEW:
The BarGeneral Manager is responsible forallaspects of the outlet witha focus onthe vibe,service, and hospitality provided. The GM oversees leading a team of employees tocreate a warm, engaging and exciting social sceneduring all hours ofoperationwhile running aprofitableoutlet.This positionalsocontrolsthequality of all service and products provided by theoutlet and continually challenge the team toimprove and create an environmentthat fosters creativity, free thinking,and intelligentdecision-making.

Responsible for workingwiththemanagement team toincrease guest counts and todevelop a loyal guest base

Bethefaceofthevenuetowelcomeloyalguestsandcontinuetobuildtheguestloyalty
WorkcloselywithBreakawayRecordstoensurethemusicalvibeofthespace isalwaysonpoint.
Ensure that the priorities ofthe business are maintained atalltimes,a first-classcocktail program being consistently executed both initially and over time.
Work withtheteam to ensure training onthe concept as wellas understanding the music in order that they can conversewith and educate the guests as required.

Monitortheserviceperiodsincludingqualityoftheentertainmentandroomenergy
Recruiting & Hiring
Establishes and maintainsappropriate staffinglevels and remainingabreast ofanychanges which may impact staffing needs
Oversees and participates in the recruiting and hiring of high-quality employees, includingmanagers
Training & Development
Responsibleformenu developmentandcocktail program ensuringtheprogram isfresh andhas positive impact on beverage cost and therefore financial results.
Ensure allservers, bartenders and host staffare consistently projecting anextraordinary image based on impeccable grooming, uniform standards and hospitable attitude
Establishes a system whereby allemployees arethoroughly trained inissues pertaining to theirposition
Work with outlet managers toprovide ongoing training of product knowledge, hospitality expectations, cycle andstandards ofservice tothe Front oftheHouse through pre-meals and additional meetings as necessary
Monitorandmaintaincleanliness,sanitationandorganizationofassignedworkareas
• Team Development
Responsible forcontinually assessingthe statusofthe current team,developing actionplansto address the developmental issues of each team member and following through on each team member's progress
Responsible for workingthe rest ofthe management teamto maximize sales andoptimize profits through the management of labor costs and other operational expenses
