Job Title: Temporary Vinyl Packaging Associate ( START DATE 3/27)

3 MONTH CONTRACT-3 DAYS A WEEK/ 5HRS A DAY/ TUESDAY + WEDNESDAY + THURSDAY 10AM-3PM.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Temporary Vinyl Packaging Associate to support our team. This position involves packaging vinyl records to ensure they are shipped to our customers in excellent condition. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have an eye for detail, and be able to follow instructions carefully to maintain quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Package vinyl records, including placing records in jackets and protective outer packaging.

• Inspect jackets for defects or other quality issues while packaging.

• Label packaging and ensure all necessary shipping details are included.

• Communicate effectively with the team and work efficiently using LEAN methodologies.

• Ensure all materials are stored correctly and replenished as needed.

• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

• Assist with inventory counts and organize products as needed.

• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace throughout the packaging process.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience in a packaging, warehouse, or similar role is a plus, but not required.

• Attention to detail and ability to handle delicate products (vinyl records).

• Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 55 lbs).

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.

• Must have reliable transportation and an ability to work on site.
