Overview
The Marketing Support Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing activities related to conferences and client events, as well as other coordination efforts that support the Marketing Leadership Team. This role directly supports the Corporate Marketing Administrator and assists the Sales and Marketing Leadership teams as needed to ensure successful event management, from initial planning to post-event analysis. Responsibilities
Provide support for the Managing Director of Marketing and the Marketing Leadership team
Lead national conference event management, including travel, negotiating hotel block contracts, venue site tours, venue selection and large and small-scale client event organization
Coordinate and track organization engagement, sponsorships and corporate memberships
Support the Communications team with implementing marketing campaigns to promote conferences, including email marketing, social media, and other digital channels
Manage client invitations, track attendance, and ensure a positive experience for all attending a Carollo conference event
Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and identify areas for improvement
Work closely with Regional Sales teams, Business Development Managers, and Geographic Leads to support their organizational engagement, conference and event-related needs
Update and maintain the CRM database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on leads, contacts, and marketing activities
Manage the organization’s conference and event materials, including banners, company information and other promotional materials including the company store
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma
7+ years minimum of administrative experience, with a marketing focus
Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects simultaneously, make decisions, and meet deadlines
Strong creative problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proven experience in managing events, including logistics and vendor negotiations
Ability to work independently as well as on a team
Ability to travel approximately 20-30 days a year
Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management Systems
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in design, visual arts, business, marketing, english, communications, or a related field
10+ years of experience in creative marketing, administrative and/or event management
Demonstrated versatility and experience in the areas of print media, digital communications, and multimedia technologies
Pay Range
$30.00 to $48.00 an hour. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
