The opportunity
As a Global Mobility Senior Specialist at Unity, you are an integral partner in supporting employees and hiring managers with their immigration and relocation needs. You will work with a team of committed Mobility professionals as well many other functions globally throughout the company. Every day will provide an extraordinary opportunity to advance program initiatives.
Reporting to the Global Mobility and Immigration Manager, you will join a global engaging team of experienced GM professionals based in offices across the Americas, EMEA and APAC regions. Given the distributed nature of the team the role allows for you to be empowered, and at the same time work as a team. Building and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues who are based in other locations and time zones to yourself will be key. There will be some flexibility needed as collaborating with teams in different time zones requires off regular hour meetings every now and then.
What you'll be doing
Responsible for the daily operations of a corporate employee mobility program providing immigration, tax and relocation programming with focus on compliance, planning, program efficiency, benchmarking, and cost effectiveness.
Using data, work with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve mobility programs and processes, as well as developing creative solutions to meet immediate and long-term business objectives.
Manage our US immigration programs, including sponsorship of nonimmigrant and immigrant cases
Consult and educate on high-level matters, to develop strategies to mitigate immigration & tax risk and provide timely solutions.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with external partners and networks in the mobility ecosystem
Ensure that our vendors and internal partners provide a high-quality experience to employees, managers, and business stakeholders by utilizing internal controls and analytic assessments.
Ensure global compliance based on current legislation / regulations.
What we're looking for
Experience in global mobility and immigration including domestic, international, short-term and long term international assignments
Human Resources experience
Professional communicator with the ability to always maintain a high level of confidentiality
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Proficient with technology, including Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office tools (email, spreadsheets, word documents, etc.)
You might also have
HR or GMI certifications
Knowledge of HR management systems (Workday) and HR ticketing systems (JIRA)
Foreign language abilities, particularly in French
