Insight Global Superintendent in Austin, Texas

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our client's team in Austin, TX. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, and the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction supervision. The Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of field operations, including craft labor management, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Expertise in concrete work, managing Bills of Materials (BOM), and familiarity with essential tools are key for success in this role.

 · Oversee daily field operations, ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective execution of construction tasks

 · Manage and supervise craft labor teams, ensuring optimal productivity and quality of work

 · Coordinate and manage all aspects of concrete work, including placement, finishing, and quality control

 · Handle the preparation and tracking of Bills of Materials (BOM)

 · Ensure tools and equipment are used properly and maintained on-site

 · Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet project goals

 · Monitor job site safety and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards

 · Troubleshoot and resolve issues in real-time

Skills and Requirements

· 10+ years of experience in construction with a focus on field operations and management

 · Expertise in concrete work, including pouring, finishing, and quality control

 · Strong understanding of managing Bills of Materials (BOM)

 · Proficiency with tools and equipment in the field

 · Experience managing craft labor in construction

 · Strong leadership and communication skills

 · Ability to solve problems on the fly and make critical decisions under pressure

 · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

 · Ability to work in a fast-paced environment null
