Texas State Job Bank Title IX Case Manager for Support and Resources in Austin, Texas
Provide consistent, on-going support for an assigned caseload of students and employees who have reported gender-based misconduct and/or are engaged in the gender-based misconduct process. Complete intake meetings to learn concerns and communicate possible courses of action, including University resources, university misconduct processes and law enforcement, where applicable. Refer students and employees to available resources, including confidential resources, for those who report sexual and gender-based misconduct and those who are reported to have violated the gender-based misconduct policy. Advise students and employees on their rights according to university policies regarding gender-based misconduct. Implement and monitor ongoing accommodations for students and employees. Document case information and updates, including interim measures, referrals, and accommodations in case management database. Handle highly confidential information regarding students and employees who have reported gender-based misconduct and/or are engaged in the gender-based misconduct process.Collaborate with other units and colleges throughout the university to coordinate the delivery of services and ensure student and employee needs are met. Facilitate coordination of support services both on and off campus. Communicate and collaborate with many colleagues and offices on campus including the Office of the Deans of Students, University Risk and Compliance Services, University Housing and Dining, academic colleges, the Office of the Executive Vice President and Provost, Counseling and Mental Health Center, Employee Assistance Program, and the Student and Faculty Ombuds.Responsible for staying current on trends and issues related to the field of sexual and gender-based misconduct. Educate the University community about resources available when seeking resources, support, and accommodations related to reporting gender-based misconduct and/or being engaged in a gender-based misconduct process. Assist in the development, implementation, and assessment of data collection to gain stakeholder input and improve processes.Other duties as assigned.
