Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry for an Accounting Clerk in Bakersfield, California. This position involves dealing with various accounting tasks in a detail-oriented setting.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Handling accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks efficiently.

• Overseeing billing processes and ensuring they are carried out accurately.

• Utilizing skills in data entry to maintain and update records.

• Processing invoices in a timely and precise manner.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks.

• Communicating with clients to address any outstanding invoices.

• Ensuring all financial data is recorded and stored securely.

• Collaborating with the finance team to ensure all financial operations are running smoothly.

• Undertaking any other accounting tasks as required. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accounting Clerk or in a related field

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Billing procedures

• Excellent Data Entry skills

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle software

• Experience with QuickBooks software

• Knowledge of SAP software is a plus
