Hyatt Executive Chef in BALI, Indonesia

Description:

As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the overall culinary operations of Alila Seminyak. You will craft innovative menus that reflect our commitment to quality, sustainability, and local ingredients. Your leadership will ensure that every dish served meets the highest standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of all kitchen areas, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.

• Develop creative and seasonal menus that showcase local ingredients and align with our brand’s philosophy.

• Manage and mentor a diverse team of chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

• Maintain inventory control and manage food costs to achieve budgeted financial goals.

• Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage to plan and execute special events, promotions, and culinary experiences.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.

• Build and maintain relationships with local suppliers and farmers to source the best ingredients.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to train and develop a high-performing team.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.

• A passion for sustainability and sourcing local ingredients.
