Robert Half Grants and Contracts Administrator in Baltimore, Maryland

Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Grants and Contracts Administrator based in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be integral to our funding operations, specifically in contract preparation, coordination, and programmatic support. You will also be in charge of ensuring compliance to funding requirements and fostering partnerships.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the lifecycle of contract initiation, management, and tracking

• Collaborate with program managers and vendors to establish and monitor contract conditions, including budgets, scope of work, and deliverables

• Lead the approval and execution of contracts, working closely with agency leadership

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and a user guide for Grants and Contracts

• Coordinate vendor negotiations

• Collaborate with the Finance Operations Coordinator to ensure seamless transition of contracts from approval to processing

• Participate in Grants Committee meetings

• Develop internal grant reporting systems in collaboration with the Grant Writer

• Provide support for external grants management requirements

• Build and maintain strategic relationships

• Assist managers with grantee support when needed

• Acquire the skills to review, process, and closeout grantee invoices

• Generate requisitions and purchase orders as necessary

• Address issues and work towards compromise/consensus, prioritizing effective communication and interagency response time.

Requirements

• Position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in grants and contracts administration.

• Proficient in managing Grants

• Demonstrated experience in Grant Management and Grant Administration is essential.

• Ability to prepare proposals effectively and efficiently.

• Knowledge of Procurement processes is required.

• Familiarity with general Procurement procedures and activities.

• Experience in Contract Administration is a must.

• Ability to handle Purchase Orders with accuracy and attention to detail
