Amazon IT Support Associate, Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) in Bangalore, India

The IT Support Associate will work with our team to provide support for a wide range of IT application and services. You will get the opportunity to work on multiple technologies and services. As an IT Support Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment, interact with a globally disbursed workforce, and apply your technical knowledge to solve issues that will span multiple IT environments. You will be responsible for processing service requests, tasks, and tickets on hardware, software, OSs, and applications.

Key job responsibilities

Windows/Linux OS deployment and support

Provide end user hardware, software, and application support

Perform system and operational tasks for disparate cloud environments

Execute change management and maintenance tasks

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and respond to emergent IT events

Perform software and hardware configuration, provision laptops, install programs, and manage virtual desktops

Respond to technical failures and requests, per on-call schedule

Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) is an organization made up of a diverse suite of functions dedicated to deeply understanding and improving customer experience, globally. We are a team of builders that develop products ,services, ideas, and various ways of leveraging data to influence product and service offerings for almost every business at Amazon - for every customer (e.g., consumers, developers, sellers/brands, employees, investors, streamers, gamers).

Our approach is based on determining the customer needs, along with problem solving, and we work backwards from there. We use technical and non-technical approaches and stay aware of industry and business trends. We are a global team, made up of a diverse set of profiles, skills, and backgrounds - including: Product Managers, Software Developers, Computer Vision experts, Solution Architects, Data Scientists, Business Intelligence Engineers, Business Analysts, Risk Managers, and more.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

  • 1+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience

  • 1+ years of IT Support experience in a production environment

  • Knowledge of IT/Networking concept (DNS, TCP/IP, Email, HTTP, HTTPS)

  • Experience supporting productivity applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office)

  • Experience in PC troubleshooting, deployment, and support

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud experience

  • Experience supporting end users and applications in an enterprise IT environment

  • Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, and Linux experience

  • Advanced networking and connectivity troubleshooting skills

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+ certification
