Your role and responsibilities

• As a software developer, you will work with clients and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• You will design, code, and test solutions for IBM Z platform, that use programming languages including Java, C/C++, Assembler, PL

Required technical and professional expertise

• 2+ years of IT experience.

• Strong understanding of Core Java (e.g., Collections Framework, Generics, Exception Handling, I/O)

• Backend development, unit testing, integration testing

• Demonstrate expertise in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns

• Deep understanding of multithreading and concurrency in Java (e.g., Thread management, Synchronization, Concurrency utilities)

• Extensive experience with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP, Sockets)

• Good problem-solving & debugging skills and desire to learn new skills & concepts like z/OS

• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Experience with specific Java frameworks like Spring

• Experience with testing frameworks, e.g., JUnit, Mockito

• Familiarity with agile methodologies

• Experience with performance tuning and optimization
