​ Job Specification: Product Owner

In this role, you have the opportunity to Work closely with stakeholders from multiple businesses.You serve as the customer proxy allocated to work with the program and development team(s), ensuring the quality and the delivery of the business critical and priority features to meet customer expectations across program increments. You are responsible for defining, prioritizing, documenting and accepting features, non-functional and functional requirements, and managing the overall program backlog. Work with business owners, clinical teams, design team, architects, product management, Q&R and software leaders contributing to vision and program backlog, preparing for program increment planning and streamlining the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the respective team(s) throughout the product life cycle.

Key Responsibility Area:

• Contribute to and review program vision, roadmap and content presentations

• Prepare and participate in release planning, contribute to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation / prioritization of portfolio backlogs to continuously synthesize into program backlog and then to team backlog. Draft the team’s specific objectives for the program increment

• Define features and requirements. Build, edit, review and reprioritize the backlog coordinating dependencies with multiple businesses.

• Define functional and non-functional requirements as well as the user interface. Identifies gaps between current system and client/market needs

• Coordinate with other product owners on content dependencies

• Manage content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers

• Facilitate inter-team dependencies in the respective sprints

• Participate in team demo and retrospectives. Work with other product owners to produce the system demo, deliver system demo for his scope to the business owner and product management team

• Ensure validation of the system with the client

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• (Bachelors/Masters) in one of Bio-Medical Engineering and/or Medical Imaging Technology.;

• 10+ years of experience in the Medical Imaging domain, specifically MRI is preferred,2+ years of experience of having played role of Product Owner is mandatory.

• The candidate should have extensive experience of eliciting requirements from customer interactions and translating them to engineering/software requirements

• Demonstrated leadership in product development (taking products from conception to release), product management, project management, and stakeholder management required.

• Self-starter with exceptional communication skills and data-driven mindset.

• The candidate should have extensive hands-on experience of MRI systems/software and related applications

• Experience with product management in agile software development teams is a plus

• Experience in high-tech, healthcare/med-tech, Healthcare IT solutions businesses is a plus.
