Our wireless access point software team builds a wide range of Wi-Fi access points including the latest Wi-Fi 7 APs (Access Points). As part of this team, you will be exposed to software testing and automation of test cases and test infrastructure for most advanced technologies for wireless devices. This team runs a large range of test scenarios to ensure quality of these platforms. Your contributions as part of this team will have direct impact into connectivity experience for critically important applications worldwide.

What You'll Do:

As a deeply motivated and skilled Software test engineer, you will work closely with other team members and cross functional teams to take our wireless products and feature through full qualification cycle. You are excited to be the one responsible quality of most advanced networking system in the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate on a project and collaborate with other engineers in the qualification of our next generation Wi-Fi products.

  • Day to day activities involve design and write test plans, build test setup, run test case, write automation scripts to automate testing, evaluate test results, debug customer issues, collect and analyse debugging logs.

  • Team up with development engineers for early qualification and automation

Required skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation, in addition to BS/MS qualification in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

  • Excellent Python scripting/automation experience

  • Experience working on TCP/IP network layer protocols.

  • Being open to continuous learning and committed to ongoing self-improvement.

  • You possess the skills to multi-task in dynamic environments.

  • Strong social, interpersonal and team building skills.

  • Ability to work with customers, understand their networking infrastructure, debug and solve their network problems.

Bonus Points for:

  • C/C++ programming skill

  • CCNA/CCNP/CWNA/CCIE certificate is a big plus

  • Wireless networking experience and in particular WFA Certification experience

  • Being self-motivated, strong sense of ownership, good teammate. You should be able to own large portions of the software from a technical perspective.

  • Cisco Wireless background specifically knowledge of 802.11 and Wi-Fi is desirable.
