Rubrik Revenue Accountant in Bangalore, India

Job Summary:

You will be a part of the Revenue team and be the expert, responsible for all things related to invoicing and collections. The position will be primarily responsible for daily invoicing, monitoring of AR transactions, collections and performing aspects of monthly, quarterly and yearly accounting close. This individual has the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Great interpersonal skills, excellent English verbal and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, ability to follow procedures accurately, strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily invoicing

  • Maintain knowledge of our customer invoicing portals and an understanding of our customer contracting terms.

  • Through daily collections calls and emails, manage all customer interactions related to billing, including responding to customer billing questions and following up with accounts with past due balances

  • Review customer disputes and work with internal teams and customer for timely resolution

  • Prepare weekly AR and collection reports

  • Collaborate with various other Revenue Team members to ensure the team’s monthly activities are on schedule

  • Prepare month-end/quarter-end journal entries related to AR accounting area

  • Prepare monthly account analysis for AR balance sheet and P&L accounts

  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch validations Ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • 5 -8 years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable

  • Demonstrated ability in Collections

  • Demonstrated analytical skills in AR

  • Detailed, flexible and organized

  • Excellent English Written and Verbal English communication skills

  • Proficient in Excel, NetSuite, and Salesforce.
