Senior DevOps Engineer (T3) Product, Technology & Data - Tools India

What you'll do

  • As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be at the forefront of:

  • Implementing Infrastructure-as-Code.

  • Developing Python and Shell scripts.

  • Developing Monitoring solutions for Source Code Management Tools.

  • Ensuring Reliability and Uptime of Source Code Management Tools.

  • Driving key technical decisions.

  • Mentoring colleagues towards successful deliveries.

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Engineering preferably in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in DevOps.

  • Must have skills: Google Cloud Platform administration, Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g. Terraform), Kubernetes, Programming languages (e.g. Shell or Python)

  • Nice to have skills: Monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk Enterprise), CI/CD tools (Jenkins or ArgoCd), & Docker

Product, Technology & Data - Tools India is part of the board area Office of the CEO and is responsible for defining, designing & developing applications that support product development at SAP.

  • We are the team responsible for several innovative applications including:

  • Hyperspace (SAPs official platform for Continuous Integration & Delivery)

  • SAP Jira (SAPs official backlog management tool with over 45,000 end-users)

  • Lucid Capacity (simplified capacity management for managers)

  • SAP Transformation Navigator (provides guidance to customers on charting their path to an intelligent enterprise. Winner of the 2017 Hasso Plattner Award)

  • AI Pair Programming with GitHub Copilot

  • Tobi (our friendly & fun chatbot in the persona of a hard-working squirrel)
