We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing scalable infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) platforms and VMare vRA (vRealize Automation). You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our critical IT infrastructure, driving innovation and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable IaaS environments on leading hyperscaler platforms.

• Leverage vRA to automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of virtual machines and other infrastructure resources.

• Utilize automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or PowerShell to streamline infrastructure operations and improve efficiency.

• Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, and ensure optimal resource utilization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and facilitate smooth delivery.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and best practices.

• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement..

Qualifications

• Proven track record of 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a focus on IaaS and vRA.

• Strong proficiency in virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere Automation.

• Hands-on experience with hyperscaler platforms (e.g., leading cloud providers) and their associated services.

• Expertise in automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, powershell.

• Solid understanding of networking principles, storage technologies, and operating systems (Linux, Windows Server).

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in hyperscaler technologies or virtualization platforms.

• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
