Your role and responsibilities

As a software developer, you will work with clients and others in a multidisciplinary team to define requirements and develop solutions. You will design, code, and test solutions for IBM Z platform, that use programming languages including Java, C/C++, Assembler,Python PL1.You would also be involved in process automation and code deployment using top of stack scripting languages and tools

Required technical and professional expertise

• 3 to 5 years of Software development experience.

• 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting language (Ansible, Python, Bash).

• 2+ Hands on experience in working with container technologies (K8s, Openshift, Docker Swarm).

• 1+ year experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion, Perforce).

• Proficient in analytical thinking, debugging, and solving complex problems.

• Experience in developing playbooks, runbacks & automation scripts in Linux environment.

• Familiar with code editors like VisualStudio Code, Eclipse, Vim.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Familiar with IBM Z platform.

• Experience with YAML, Jinja templating and Ansible playbooks.

• Experience with Jenkins, continuous integration and continuous delivery.

• 2+ years’ experience building enterprise software applications.

• 2+ years’ experience administering and automating Linux.
