Welder

35.00 per hour!!!!

Job Overview:

• Candidates will be serving as a welder in a manufacturing setting.

• Candidate will be performing MIG welding on structural steel.

• Welders will be working with manufacturing blueprints to complete work on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities:

• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining structural steel to specifications.

• Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.

• Determining correct gas ratios for welding purposes.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting as required.

• Testing the strength of each join during and after project completion.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 2 plus years of experience in welding position

• 2 years of experience with MIG Welding

• Sound understanding of welding safety

• Willingness to be welding certified through company

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately

• Ability to read a tape measure accurately

• Pipe welding not required, but translates well!

• Ability to pass a leak test on structural steel

Environment:

• 2nd shift

• 10 hour shifts

• Welding Gear
