Job Title: Superintendent of Construction

Job Description

Manage construction schedule for ground up multifamily projects. Order materials to ensure their timely delivery to job sites in accordance with scheduling. Coordinate with subcontractors, ensure timely and quality work, and manage site safety. Communicate with all designated parties regarding the status of project schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality control inspections on all work under construction on a daily basis to ensure all work is in compliance with plans and up to quality standards.

• Conduct on-site safety and construction meetings on the established basis.

• Inspect all trade contractor work and supplier deliveries prior to approving invoices for payment.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of construction management experience

• Ability to read and understand construction plans

• Multifamily project experience

• Experience with construction scheduling

• Subcontractor management

• Blueprint reading

• Experience with ground up construction

• Project scheduling (minimum able to manage 3 week look ahead schedules)

• Quality control

• Experience with RFIs

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency with construction software

Onsite in Beaverton/Sherwood, working on 4-story apartment buildings with elevators. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
