Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Medical Advisor team and develop product life-cycle management strategy from medical perspective to maximize products value and long term development
Develop effective medical plan for the defined therapeutic area(s) aligning with products development strategy and ensure its timely execution
Identify medical opportunity in current trends of diagnosis, existing/emerging treatment options , and unmet medical needs in defined therapeutic area as medical base
Develop Integrated Evidence Generation Plan strategy based on patients’ needs in alignment with Takeda objectives.
Oversee and manage phase IV studies
Develop Investigator Initiate research (IIR) strategy in given disease area and review =IIR proposal to ensure its scientific standard and strategy fit
Develop and execute publication plan, provide ideas for generating manuscripts of scientific interest, and actively review manuscripts and abstracts to ensure medical and scientific accuracy
Provide Medical inputs to support GI pipeline development Lead MA to work as medica representative in CADT to provide inputs from disease and KOLs prospective
Support registration relevant activities if needed
Collaborate with global team to prepare disease awareness and readiness.
Review and approve of local product labeling (LPD), and medical justification document to support LPD related queries from drug administration agency
Provide medical evaluation on TA BD relevant activities
Build up high performance and engaged team under tough situation
Build up effective team to ensure the above responsibilities fulfilled
Create an inclusive environment and engaged culture and morale
Develop People to next level leader
Lead change
Be responsible for budget plan and management to ensure effective utilization of resources
Qualifications & Skills:
Level of Education
- Master degree major in clinical medicine and above
Working Experience in Relevant Field
- Either ≥5 years medical affairs experience in pharmaceutical company; or ≥ 1 year people manager experience in pharmaceutical company is preferred.
Professional Knowledge and Skills
Good knowledge of relevant TAs knowledge in general.
Fundamental knowledge of clinical study methodology.
Customer focus with excellent communication and influencing skills that can impact at national level
Interpersonal skills and strong leadership and motivation skills to lead and coach a team of Medical Advisors and work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to build and maintain a strong network of effective scientific relationships with stakeholders and maintain an understanding for HCPs, to achieve trusted advisor status.
Highly medical project management skills to deliver on complex tasks within timeframe and milestones.
Innovative sense and willing to drive a complex and changing environment and effectively manage and resolve issues from medical perspective.
Awareness of and adherence to the company’s credo and compliance requirement.
Fluent in both written and spoken business and academic English.
