nVent Sales Manager in Beijing, China

What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

In this position, you will get to:

  • Field sales calls and customer support (approximately 60% travel)

  • Provide guidance for field sales engineers. Coordinate activities of internal departments as they relate to the region.

  • Forecast and analysis of regional sales activities; programs and growth of customer base; provide plans and programs to meet objectives.

  • Giving directions for sales engineers for all major projects and quotations issued for the region.

  • Coordinate sales focused activities such samples, prototype, cost etc. with the Qingdao operation,

  • Work closely with product management to promote our products in the assigned region

  • Meet booking objectives for the region.

  • Manage distributors/reps to ensure sales performance

  • Independent price negotiation with direct customers/reps/distributors

You have:

  • Academic background in Bachelor Degree, preferable in mechanical engineering

  • Previous experience in or with

  • Minimum five years electronic/electro-mechanical sales experience, preferable in the electronic/electric industry.

  • Technical knowledge about rated enclosures/electronic packaging

  • Persuasiveness

  • Ability to build positive relationships

  • Communicates effectively up and down the organization

  • Must be able to motivate

  • Outgoing & positive, strong interpersonal ability

  • Culture background for the assigned region

  • Ability to work under pressure
